SUMMARY:17. Östereichische Chemietage
DESCRIPTION:„Chemie – von den Biowissenschaften zum Material”\n„Chemistry – from Life Sciences to Materials“ \nChemical sciences are essential for understanding fundamental processes and developing new technologies. The Austrian Chemistry Days 2017 will focus on the central role that chemistry plays for a variety of fields\, ranging from life sciences to functional materials. The conference will invite scientists from all chemical disciplines to address topics such as synthesis\, analytical sciences\, catalysis\, chemical biology\, computational chemistry\, electrochemistry\, materials chemistry\, supramolecular chemistry and nanochemistry. \nThe Austrian Chemistry Days will promote cross-disciplinary discussions that are essential to the emergence of new concepts. Plenary lectures\, oral and poster presentations will stimulate interactions between young scientists and internationally recognized experts. A specific program for undergraduate students will be held. \nIn the past\, the Austrian Chemistry Days have been organized in cooperation with neighboring chemical societies. Members of these societies are particularly welcome to participate. In 2017\, we are glad to share this meeting with the Swiss Chemical Society. English will be the official conference language.
