SUMMARY:16th Polymer Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Dear colleagues and friends\, members of the large family of polymer science and technology\, the 16th Polymer Meeting will be held in Prague from 1 to 4 September 2025 to continue the expanding tradition of regular polymer meetings in central Europe the history of which extends for more than two decades. It is the continuation of the Danube-Vltava-Sava-Polymer meetings\, Austrian Slovenian Polymer Meetings\, and Austrian Polymer Meetings. Due to the increasing interest of the international audience in these events\, this meeting series has become truly European. \nThe topics of the conference cover all aspects of polymer research in particular chemistry\, physical chemistry and physics\, as well as applications of polymers in various technological\, industrial\, and biomedical areas including questions related to sustainable use of polymers. The scope of the conference thus follows the ongoing trend in polymer science which is becoming more and more interdisciplinary. It will provide an opportunity for intergenerational contacts and presentations by young scientists. \nIt is my pleasure to cordially invite you to the 16th Polymer Meeting organized by the Institute of Macromolecular Chemistry in the beautiful city of Prague\, which besides being the center of polymer science in the Czech Republic also offers a plethora of cultural events and activities for visitors. \nJiří Kotek \nPM 16 chair
